Pastor Rickey has always had a heart for the underdog. Coming out of a lifestyle that was marred with drugs, alcohol, and promiscuous living, Pastor Rickey has always been able to relate to the common man. He knows what it is to be broken, but he also knows that Jesus Christ can bring healing to any situation. It is his desire to raise up a people who would reveal the Kingdom of God, Manifest the Life of God, Model the Glory of God, and Fulfill their God-given Purpose in this life. Pastor Rickey boldly proclaims a message that motivates and inspires believers to step into their own personal greatness. It is the power of the Word of God that changes peoples lives. And it is the Word of God that empowers people to live out a victorious lifestyle every day. It is our vision to see people turned on to the Holy Word of God, passionately seeking truth, and fervently serving God.
For those that are called into a ministry, LightHouse Church is also a training center. We believe the church is to help develop those that have a call to ministry. As character and integrity is developed in a person's life, then we give opportunity for that person to share. Whether it is singing, preaching, teaching, or the helps ministry, people need training. We believe there is no better place to be trained than the local church.
Many years ago God began to deal with Pastor Rickey about the next generation, our Youth. At the time he began to share with them every Wednesday night. As he shared with them, God put a burning desire in his heart for the youth. Pastor Rickey and Donna believe the church must mentor our youth. In doing so, we must invest time and money. LightHouse has developed a youth program that reaches out to the youth of our community. In doing so, we have bought foosball tables, a ping pong table, a air hockey, arcade video games, and a pool table for the youth to enjoy. We believe the youth need to see that we love them enough to spend money on them and to invest our time with them. They are the next generation!
